Sanford Heart: seven homes, reserved online.

The launch page for seven off-plan homes, built for Heartland. Prices and availability are for registered buyers. A buyer picks a home on the plan, pays a refundable reservation fee online and the home is held for them, then follows the rest of the purchase in their owner’s portal.

01 · The brief
Seven homes on a ridge, a launch date and a sales team that wanted fewer, better-qualified buyers. Heartland wanted buyers to commit online, without handing the sale to a third-party platform.
02 · The system
Sign up with an email and a six-digit code to see prices. Pick a home on the aerial plan, confirm it, add your details and pay the reservation fee through Payfast. The home is held while you pay, and Xano keeps the reservation, the hold and the payment in one record.

Choose your home on the plan

Availability
Choose your home on the plan: Home 1 selected, with its sizes, levies, rates, floor plans and Reserve button
Pick a home and its card follows: sizes, levies and rates, both floor plans, and Reserve one tap away.
The aerial plan: each home cut out of the render and marked available, reserved or sold
Each home is a cut-out of the aerial render, so the building itself lights up. Reserved and sold come straight from the CMS.

The reservation, step by step

Reserve flow
  1. Reserve flow step 1: confirm the home

Confirm the home and see the fee.

  2. Reserve flow step 3: the reservation fee

The fee holds the home; the deposit comes later.

  3. Payfast payment page (sandbox)

Payfast, then straight back. (Sandbox shown.)

  4. Reservation confirmed with a reference number

Reference number and a way into the portal.

  5. Owner’s portal: the home, a countdown to sign the offer to purchase, and the four stages from reserve to move-in

    Signing, documents and build progress.

Reserve step 1: Home 1 with its specs, purchase price and the fee to hold it
01 · Confirm the home: specs, upgrades, the purchase price and the fee to hold it. Nothing is charged yet.
Reserve step 2: details for the Offer to Purchase, filled in with a test buyer
02 · Details for the Offer to Purchase. Date of birth fills in from an SA ID number, and answers save as you type. (Test buyer shown.)
Reserve step 3: the reservation fee due now, before Payfast
03 · The fee holds the home; the deposit is arranged with the attorneys. Then straight to Payfast and back.
Reserve step 4: a test reservation confirmed after a Payfast sandbox payment
04 · Confirmed after Payfast (sandbox shown), with a reservation number and the way into the dashboard.

Make it yours

Upgrades
Make it yours: garage, lift, courtyard, flooring, appliances and solar, with the courtyard open and a summary of the choices
After reserving, owners tailor six things: garage, lift, courtyard, flooring, appliances and solar. Each option says whether it is included or an upgrade, and the summary builds as you choose. Pricing is on consultation.
